ABOUT S.A.I.F.
From professional knowledge
to clinical experience.
Practical courses in implantology and oral surgery.
S.A.I.F. offers practical courses for dentists who want to develop their clinical skills. We plan each course around the participant’s experience, learning goals and need for supervision.

THE STORY BEHIND
Why S.A.I.F. was founded.
S.A.I.F. grew from a need its founder, Saif Al-Shamari, experienced as a dentist who wanted to develop his skills in dentoalveolar surgery.
“There are many courses with theoretical teaching and exercises on plastic models, pig jaws and other phantoms. They can be valuable for learning, but they were not enough for me to feel confident treating my own patients.
Clinical reality is different. A patient can feel pain, become tired or find it difficult to keep their mouth open. Bleeding, saliva, the tongue and limited visibility create demands that a model cannot reproduce in the same way.
That is why I looked for courses where I could treat real patients under experienced teachers who had time to explain, support and help throughout. I wanted experience I could take home and build on in my own clinic.
Today, I want to help dentists in the same position I was in years ago. With S.A.I.F., I want to offer the practical experience, guidance and support that can help dentists who have a little surgeon inside them get started with surgical treatment in their own clinics.”
— Saif Al-Shamari, founder of S.A.I.F.

THE FOUNDER AND TEAM
Saif Al-Shamari
Saif plans and coordinates your course with his team and may contribute as a theoretical and clinical teacher by agreement.
Saif is educated as a dentist from the University of Copenhagen, has more than ten years of experience and an MSc from UEMC in oral surgery, implantology and prosthodontics.
S.A.I.F. stands for Surgical & Advanced Implantology Fellowship. We offer short, individually planned courses with practical teaching and clinical supervision. We can also arrange longer fellowship pathways over several stays across one, two or three years, with progression based on your ambitions and learning goals. A fellowship pathway is not itself an academic degree.
